Golf FORE Healthby Valley Medical Center on August 2, 2021
Benefitting Valley Medical Center’s Greatest Needs Fund
This September, we are excited to be hosting a virtual golf tournament: Golf FORE Health – Benefitting Valley Medical Center’s Greatest Needs! Our Greatest Needs fund provides vital resources, including patient assistance funds (nearly $25M disbursed annually to help those in need) and critical projects not covered by other funding sources. With your support we will be able to raise funds to increase our impact and ensure all of the 600,000+ diverse residents of our South King County cities and neighbors have access to high-quality health care.
How does a virtual golf tournament work?
Golfers organize their own foursomes and register with their $100 per person donation to Valley via our tournament website. Golfers complete their rounds at any of the 6 participating courses at any time during the tournament window, September 1-18*, arranging their own tee times and paying their greens fees to the course directly. Greens fees vary from $31 to $230 per player depending on the course and day and time of play. During their round, players utilize our tournament app to capture scores and the data feeds into an overall leader board.
At the end of the multi-day tournament, we will host a virtual happy hour on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 4:30 PM, with participating golfer gifts mailed in advance, where we will celebrate golfers of all abilities via an assortment of awards and surprise giveaways.
