Behavioral Health Specialist

Summary:
Aristo Intensive Behavioral Health Treatment Services is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in Renton, Washington. This is a full-time position with multiple shifts available. The ideal candidates will have a experience in behavioral health field. This entry-level position will provide support and assistance to clients in our residential treatment facility, under the direction of the Clinical Director. Join our team and help create a supportive environment that promotes healing and resilience.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care services and support to clients participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
  • Assist clients with daily activities and routines, including meal preparation, and hygiene tasks.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collect and record data on patient behavior and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor and supervise clients during group therapy sessions, recreational activities, and outings.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed, following established protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and other team members in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.
  • Provide training and support to clients, families, and other staff members as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required. 

Requirements:

  • A valid and active Registered Agency Affiliated Credential is required for this position. It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain the active status of this credential throughout their employment.
  • Prior experience working in and around behavioral health within a direct care setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to assist in the treatment of mental health and substance abuse conditions under the direction of the Clinical Director.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
