Find Out What You’ve Been Missing Out On.
One of the hardest things to balance as a business owner is the multiple hats you wear throughout your day. At one moment you’re in customer service, the next maintenance, and finally for a glorious moment you get to focus on what drove you to become an entrepreneur.
You know that being an active member of your community is necessary. Joining the Renton Chamber of Commerce was a beneficial choice. The resources that come along with your membership give you access to many marketing tools that help you succeed. It also acts as a gateway to meeting and working with other local leaders. But what you may not know about the Chamber is all the benefits that come along with your membership. Through your Self-Hosted Member Information Center (MIC) you have all the tools to reach the masses and present the information you want them to see!
This program was created and designed to educate Chamber members on all the resources available to them so they can fully utilize their account. Covered in these classes are things like networking opportunities and advocacy available for members to help stretch their reach.
The hope is for members to walk away with a better ability to navigate the massive website, implement specials to promote your business, post jobs, events, and create Member 2 Member deals.
Originally designed for new members, but open to all members who might need a refresher, or at a point where they want to dive deeper into resources.
MAXimize Your Membership 101 classes are held the first Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30pm.
Demo’s, Tutorials, and Instruction happen from 4-5pm, leaving 5-5:30pm open for Q&A.
When you register for this upcoming event, scroll down and you will see tutorials to give you a head start into maximizing today.

It can seem overwhelming and is a lot to go through, but don’t let that stop you from utilizing the power of membership. The best way to navigate is to have a game plan. Below are some ideas to work through to help lessen the overwhelm and get you ticking in the right direction.
1. What are you hoping to gain from your Chamber membership?
By identifying the answer to this question you can begin to set up a path for your success.
-
Are you looking to build relationships with community leaders?
-
Are you looking to develop your team professionally through resources?
-
Are you looking to expand your reach to the community?
Whatever your goals are the Chamber staff can help guide you to those resources.
2. Get your staff involved!
Did you know that your membership extends to your entire staff? If the thought of figuring out all these fabulous benefits seems like too much, consider getting your team involved. Building up a team from the inside takes trust and dedication. Why not empower them and grow your business together.
3. Make Connections
The connections you make with your business peers through professional development discussions, member events, and ribbon cuttings not only extend your network, but put you in front of those with a toolkit to help.
If you find yourself with time to spare at work then it’s the perfect opportunity to look around and find other businesses to connect with. Sometimes a simple introduction with like-minded business owners or Chamber staff is all you need to get the brainstorm going. The Renton Chamber loves to help businesses connect and support ideas, events, and opportunities.
