Diversity in Law Enforcement: Career Workshop Valley Police Agencies (Auburn, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Port of Seattle, Renton, and Tukwila) are excited to host the second Diversity in Law Enforcement: Career Workshop on November 2, 2024, in Renton. This workshop aims to help potential police officer applicants navigate the hiring process and increase the diversity of our workforce. This FREE workshop will address both real and perceived barriers to entering law enforcement and provide strategies for success. Individuals interested in serving the South King County community as police officers are encouraged to register by October 27, 2024.
