Coming off a multi-night run at Jazz Alley as well as a rousing performance at Bumbershoot, Stephanie Anne Johnson is a rare gem; a local artist very much poised for a world-wide stage. Stephanie's mantra is “Find your joy and go there.” And they have GONE THERE while opening for acts like Macy Gray, Mavis Staples, Chaka Kahn, and Ani DiFranco. Their music is rooted in all that’s American, expressing the pain of the past as well as hope for a better future.
