ADVOCACY

We are here to go to bat for you in your industry. We want to address the things that matter and effect your organization – we have a Legislative Committee that goes to Olympia on your behalf. We work with other Chambers and Coalitions to make sure we cover area-wide issues that affect business.

NETWORKING

We have over 90 events throughout the course of the year, from after-hours, community events, networking breakfasts, to a host of Chamber-driven activities that include opportunities to get your sales teams or staff face-to-face with the public and to get to know other Chamber members.

DIRECTORY LISTING

Your membership includes a free listing in our Membership Directory, which is updated annually and is readily available online. Printed copies are distributed to businesses and organizations regionally, including the Office of the Mayor, Renton City Council, and to other influential community leaders.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

We turn the spotlight on Chamber member businesses every other month with a Business Spotlight feature article, providing both exposure and an opportunity to learn more about your fellow Renton Chamber members in the community.

We also provide other spotlight opportunities at our networking events, in newsletters, on our social media sites, and as a lead speaker at one of our many networking breakfasts.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

You will have the ability to jump in and sponsor events throughout the year. Your company can sponsor and host an after-hours event at your place of business where all the members are invited to attend our large monthly networking events. Great exposure!

RIBBON CUTTINGS & GRAND OPENINGS

Are you opening a new business, expanding at your current location, relocating, or celebrating a milestone anniversary? Let the Renton Chamber of Commerce help you celebrate! A Ribbon Cutting ceremony is an important part of your overall marketing and advertising plan and is a great way to network with other business leaders.

CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN

A Certificate of Origin (COO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. It is also a declaration by the exporter. Virtually every country in the world considers the origin of imported goods when determining what duty will be assessed on the goods or, in some cases, whether the goods may be legally imported at all. The 1923 Geneva Convention named Chambers of Commerce the official body to issue, sign and stamp Certificates of Origin worldwide.

The Renton Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce a new tiered membership structure , designed to give our members more choice, more transparency, and more value.

For many years, Chamber dues were based on employee count (FTEs). While that model worked in the past, it did not always reflect how businesses actually engage with the Chamber. A small team may be highly involved, while a larger organization may only need a few core benefits.

Our new structure shifts the focus from company size to company goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the Chamber move away from an FTE-based model?

Employee count does not always reflect how a business engages with the Chamber. The tiered model allows members to choose benefits based on goals and usage, not headcount.

Does this make membership more expensive?

Not necessarily. Many members will find this structure more cost-effective because they are only paying for the benefits they plan to use.

Are nonprofits included in this structure?

Yes. Nonprofits have access to the same tiered structure, with nonprofit pricing available at each level.

What are Admission Credits?

Admission Credits* can be used toward eligible Chamber-hosted programs and events throughout the year. They provide built-in value and flexibility for member participation.

*Membership Admission Credits are promotional benefits and have no cash value. They can only be used towards select ticketed admission to Renton Chamber programs and are not redeemable for cash or refunds. Credits must be used within the membership year and do not roll over.

How do I know which tier is right for me?
