The Hitching Rail Wellness Center and Retreat is an equine riding program for our Veterans and First Responders along with their families.
We offer a free horse-riding program and also, no cost lessons to our Veterans and First Responders. Each rider and horse will learn
to work as a team and build trust at their own pace. Lessons progress step-by-step through proper horsemanship handling/care for the horses and learning to ride. No pressures, no demands and each rider only does what they expect of themselves. The program runs for 8 weeks on Saturdays.

We are located on a 14-acre ranch, home to five adult horses and a flock of eight sheep. The property includes horse stalls, a sheep shelter, a small hay barn, garden area and a grove of Japanese cedars. We understand the importance of peace and tranquility; we want to ensure that all our guests feel safe and at home on our ranch.
